Mid-Week Maker Challenge

I developed the bi monthly challenge In order to encourage criticial thinking and problem solving and to promote team work and cooperation. Students in all grades use the design cycle to solve problems in a hands on practical manner.

Maker Space Development

At OSC I was able to develop a Primary Maker Space so that students have access to tools and electronics to explore, build and create.

Inquiry

Classroom

I strive to run an inquiry-based classroom where students' critical thinking skills and creative problem solving are honored. Students' questions and wonderings help to drive learning and develop inquiry in a guided manner. Concepts are used as a lens to focus the learning leading to a deeper and richer understanding. Developing transdisciplinary skills which are used for a lifetime is crucial.
